The Sound
When we write, be it a poem, a prose, a story, as writers we all look for the ding-a-ling sound in the writing, the thing that vibrates.
A well written one to me always has that vibration.
A best written one, like Rumi's poem, has rhythm, has cadence, has the sound of a bell,
vibrating the readers' ear, like music.
So when the poem finishes, the music continues.
Aren't we all dying to hear or write that sound,
the sound of a bell, that vibrates?
